Liverpool Competition player suspensions for 2004 season
The suspensions listed below apply to organisations affiliated to the Lancashire Cricket Board, neighbouring county boards and the England and Wales Cricket Board

The following player has been suspended for FOUR weeks (for abuse of cricket equipment and verbal abuse of an umpire during the match Southport and Birkdale v Maghull on Saturday 4th September) commencing midnight Friday 10th September to midnight Friday 24th September 2004 and from midnight Friday 6th May to midnight Friday 20th May 2005 or such other dates that will incorporate the first two league fixtures of the 2005 season, in accordance with the Disciplinary Guidelines nos 1 and 3 (para 2).

The following player has been suspended for ONE week, commencing midnight Friday 27th August to midnight Friday 3rd September for the abuse of cricket equipment during the match between Liverpool and Newton le Willows on Sunday 22nd August 2004, in accordance with the Disciplinary Guidelines.

Following further information being revealed, which was not included within the Umpire's Report on which the decision to suspend Howard Parker (Sefton Park) (notice 01108) for one week following verbal dissent to an Umpire during the match between Sefton Park and Leigh on Saturday 22nd May 2004 was made, the suspension has been withdrawn.
The player was suspended by his club for one match immediately following the game and did not play in the Cockspur Cup fixture on the following day. He also received a further one match suspension, suspended until the end of the season.
