Rules

1. Results to be forwarded to statto@liverpoolcompetition.freeserve.co.uk within 24 hours of the match concluding.

2. 20 overs per side with bowlers bowling a maximum of 4 overs each. Fielding circles will apply with only two fielders allowed outside the circle for the first 6 overs and thereafter only four fielders allowed outside the circle at any time at the bowler�s point of delivery.

3. In the event of a tied game the side losing least wickets is the winner. Should wickets lost be equal, the side scoring most runs in the first 10 overs shall be the winner followed by a count back to 9 overs, 8 overs, etc., should further judgement be needed.

4. Qualification requires the player to be under 16/20yrs on September 1st 2009. Overseas players are not allowed in this competition. County academy players are accepted but no player on a full county contract will be allowed.

5. In the event of rain the side batting second must complete 10 overs to constitute a game. In the event of a first innings completing and then a rain interruption, the umpires will calculate the net run rate from the first innings and multiply by the overs left to the side batting second in order to constitute a game. If both sides are unable to play a match, a bowl out will take place, with both sides providing 5 bowlers each bowling 2 balls. 6. Umpires must be provided by the clubs up to group finals. Umpires will be provided by MCUA for all finals day matches.

7. Results must be posted on ldcc.play-cricket.com within 24 hours of the match concluding.
