Umpires will jointly mark the
existing Report Card under 'Spirit
of Cricket' on completion of a match
duly allocating each 1st XI team
with a specific score as set out
below.
The mark will be confidential and
under no circumstances should be
shared with any members of either
team or club and applies to all
League and KO Cup matches.
The Card will be posted within 5
days of the end of the match, by
either Umpire, to the L&DCC
Appointed Representative - address
printed on card.
Teams will be marked on the
following criteria:-

Totally unacceptable
behaviour was demonstrated |

1 point |
Generally unacceptable
behaviour was demonstrated |

c. |
2 points |
An antagonistic atmosphere
was created |
|
d. |
3 points |
Played in less than 'good
spirit' but incident free
and no form of Disciplinary
Report was necessary |

e. |
4 points |
Played in good spirit
throughout |
|
f. |
5 points |
Exceptional spirit
throughout epitomising the
real 'Spirit of Cricket' |
NB It is acceptable to mark with a
half point should the umpires
consider it appropriate and the
'Spirit of Cricket Level' fall
between the above categories.
The tables will be updated at
regular intervals during the season,
culminating in a cash award to the
top team in each division.
