route from north:
Take the Formby bypass (A565) to 'Weld Blundell' traffic lights. Turn left into Lady Green Lane, pass Ince Blundell Hall on right, left onto East Lane, onto Lunt Road, right at a T junction, left onto Lunt Road to a T junction by Sefton Church. Turn left onto Bridges Lane (which becomes Sefton Lane) and on to traffic lights. Turn right onto Liverpool Road and left at the Meadows pub to traffic lights. Go through the lights into Hall Lane and turn left into Tommy Gent Way into the ground.

M6 - M58 to Switch Island. Turn right onto A59. Go through a set of lights and under a pedestrian bridge. Turn right at next lights into Hall Lane and turn left into Tommy Gent Way into the ground.

route from east:
M62 - M57 (north) to Switch Island. Turn right onto A59. Go through a set of lights and under a pedestrian bridge. Turn right at next lights into Hall Lane and turn left into Tommy Gent Way into the ground.

route from the Wirral:
Pick up the M53 towards and into the Wallasey Tunnel (£1.40 toll payable on entry). On exit pull over to the left and go up the slip road which swings left. A road joins from the right at the top. Go straight on for a short distance and then fork left at traffic lights. 50 yards after the fork, turn left into Boundary Street at traffic lights. Go on and through lights (Commercial Road), under a bridge and turn right at next lights into Derby Road (steel fence opposite). Go straight ahead, and after about 3 miles, at the Seaforth Container base on the left go down the side of the flyover and turn right under it and join Princess Way towards the M57/M58 junction at Switch Island. Go through the lights at Switch Island, through another set of lights and under a pedestrian bridge. Turn right at next lights into Hall Lane and turn left into Tommy Gent Way into the ground.

Go straight on for half a mile and at a slanting junction with traffic lights (Commercial Road/Melville Road) - pub on left, turn right. Straight on, pass the 'Wacky Warehouse' (ex Mons) pub on left, through traffic lights and roundabouts to lights by GIRO. Straight on and turn right at the roundabout onto Dunnings Bridge Road. Go straight on through sets of traffic lights and through the lights at Switch Island. Go through another set of lights and under a pedestrian bridge. Turn right at next lights into Hall Lane and turn left into Tommy Gent Way into the ground.

M56 - M6 - M62 - M57 (north) to Switch Island. Turn right onto A59. Go through a set of lights and under a pedestrian bridge. Turn right at next lights into Hall Lane and turn left into Tommy Gent Way into the ground.

route from South Wirral and North Wales:
Make way to the end of M56. Go along M56 and continue to Runcorn exit (A557). Drop down slip road to traffic lights at roundabout. Take third exit and then climb up the hill and follow the road round with 'ICI' on the left. Follow signs for Liverpool Airport and take the turning towards Runcorn Bridge. Traffic joins from the right, go over the bridge. Go straight on and over the flyover. Follow the road, all dual carriageway to the A5300/M57 junction. Join the A5300 and continue on the M57 to Switch Island. Turn right onto A59. Go through a set of lights and under a pedestrian bridge. Turn left at next lights into Hall Lane. To a T junction and turn right at the 'Meadows' pub onto Liverpool Road. Through traffic lights (Sefton Lane on the left) and the 'Parkhaven Trust Cox Home' ground is on the left.
