from the south west:
Go to start of M58 (Switch Island). Along M58 to M6 (junction 6). Join the M6 (north). Exit at junction 32 onto M55 (west) to A583 junction. Turn left onto A583. After a short distance as the main road bends left, go straight on at the new B&Q roundabout, and immediately get in right hand lane. At traffic lights turn right and immediate left on to Peel Road. Along Peel Road to T-junction at end and turn right onto Balham Road. Go along Balham Road, passing Lytham Green Drive Golf Course on the left. Follow Balham Road to the right. Proceed to a T junction and turn right into Church Road. The club is on the right before a church.

from the south east:
Join the M6 (north). Exit at junction 32 onto M55 (west) to A583 junction. Turn left onto A583. After a short distance as the main road bends left, go straight on at the new B&Q roundabout, and immediately get in right hand lane. At traffic lights turn right and immediate left on to Peel Road. Along Peel Road to T-junction at end and turn right onto Balham Road. Go along Balham Road, passing Lytham Green Drive Golf Course on the left.Follow Balham Road to the right. Proceed to a T junction and turn right into Church Road. The club is on the right before a church.

Join the M61 (north). Follow M61 to M6 (north). Join M6, follow to junction 32 and then join M55 (west) to A583 junction. Turn left onto A583. After a short distance as the main road bends left, go straight on at the new B&Q roundabout, and immediately get in right hand lane. At traffic lights turn right and immediate left on to Peel Road. Along Peel Road to T-junction at end and turn right onto Balham Road. Go along Balham Road, passing Lytham Green Drive Golf Course on the left. Follow Balham Road to the right. Proceed to a T junction and turn right into Church Road. The club is on the right before a church.

route from the Wirral:
Pick up the M53 towards and into the Wallasey Tunnel (£1.40 toll payable on entry). On exit pull over to the left and go up the slip road which swings left. A road joins from the right at the top. Go straight on for a short distance and then fork left at traffic lights. 50 yards after the fork, turn left into Boundary Street at traffic lights. Go on and through lights (Commercial Road), under a bridge and turn right at next lights into Derby Road (steel fence opposite). Go straight ahead, and after about 3 miles, at the Seaforth Container base on the left go down the side of the flyover and turn right under it and join Princess Way towards the M57/M58 junction at Switch Island. Along M58 to M6 (junction 6). Join the M6 (north). Exit at junction 32 onto M55 (west) to A583 junction. Turn left onto A583. After a short distance as the main road bends left, go straight on at the new B&Q roundabout, and immediately get in right hand lane. At traffic lights turn right and immediate left on to Peel Road. Along Peel Road to T-junction at end and turn right onto Balham Road. Go along Balham Road, passing Lytham Green Drive Golf Course on the left. Follow Balham Road to the right. Proceed to a T junction and turn right into Church Road. The club is on the right before a church.

route from North Wales:
A55(T) onto M56 and onto M6 (north). Exit at junction 32 onto M55 (west) to A583 junction. Turn left onto A583. After After a short distance as the main road bends left, go straight on at the new B&Q roundabout, and immediately get in right hand lane. At traffic lights turn right and immediate left on to Peel Road. Along Peel Road to T-junction at end and turn right onto Balham Road.
