LEIGH
ground:route from the north and north west:
A580(T) East Lancashire Road eastbound. Pass under the M6 and after four miles, turn left
at traffic lights onto A579, signposted Bolton. At next set of lights turn right onto A572
signposted Leigh. After half a mile, turn right onto Beech Walk. The ground is then about
50 yards up on the left.
route from the Wirral:
Go through the Wallasey Tunnel (£1.40 toll payable on entry) and on exit, follow the slip road to the left. Go straight
on through two main traffic lights and at third set, swing right up Everton Valley
(towards Anfield and Goodison Park). Go through lights and fork left at the next set (towards
Goodison Park). Straight on, passing Stanley Park on the right. Follow the road round and
eventually cross the A5058 (Queen's Drive). Go straight on and onto the A580 (East Lancs
Road) towards Manchester. Eventually you reach the M6 junction. Pass under the M6 and
after four miles, turn left at traffic lights onto A579, signposted Bolton. At next set of
lights turn right onto A572 signposted Leigh. After half a mile, turn right onto Beech
Walk. The ground is then about 50 yards up on the left.
route from South Wirral and North Wales:
M56 eastbound onto M6 northbound. Take exit 23 onto A580(T) eastbound and after four
miles, turn left at traffic lights onto A579, signposted Bolton. At next set of lights
turn right onto A572 signposted Leigh. After half a mile, turn right onto Beech Walk. The
ground is then about 50 yards up on the left.

route from A580 (East
Lancashire Road):
Go as for Leigh 1st XI ground. At traffic lights turn onto A579. Go through traffic lights
at A572 (turn right here for Beech Walk), over a canal to a roundabout at A578.
Go straight on and turn left into Kirkhall Lane and the ground is half a mile up on the
left, before a petrol station.
