The Liverpool Echo Invitation Cricket Knockout Trophy Draw

The draw for 2010's competition
was released to this website today. It will be working with the
Liverpool Echo during the season with regard to the competition.
There were 34 teams in the draw. The teams are broken down as 29 from the Liverpool Competition, 4 the Cheshire County League and 1 from the Chester League.
Nine times winners Bootle begin the defence of their Liverpool Echo Knockout title with a first round match at New Brighton who have yet to win the competition. Wallasey, winners over St Helens Recs in the 2008 final, travel to Fleetwood Hesketh who, if they are successful, face local rivals Southport and Birkdale at Trafalgar Road in the second round.
First round matches to be played on either Thursday 13th or Friday 14th May with second round matches three weeks later.
