President's Trophy final team named

As the Liverpool Competition go for a hat trick of wins, the team that will face the Derbyshire Premier League at Sandiacre Town CC in the final of the Northern Rock League Cricket Conference President's Trophy on Sunday 5th September 2004 has been named. (stumps will be pitched at 1:30 pm)

It shows four changes from the eleven that beat the Derbyshire County League in the semi final. Wallasey's Phil Luxon returns as captain in the absence of Colwyn Bay's Sion Morris who is involved in a rearranged league fixture with Haydock on the day.

Also named are Lytham leg spinner Jimmy Wisniewski, Wigan captain Sean Casham and Leigh's Steve Mullaney at the expense of James Dyer, Ather Abid and Gareth Edwards.

The full team is: PP Luxon (captain - Wallasey), SD Casham (Wigan), DG Cranston (Southport and Birkdale), LG Crilly (Maghull), G Cross (Leigh - wicket keeper), R Davis (Leigh), ML Evans (New Brighton), S Garvey (St Helens Recs), SJ Mullaney (Leigh), CG Prince (Southport and Birkdale), J Wisniewski (Lytham).
