Reminder of time for the start of the 'last hour'

Following an incident in a First Division match last Saturday, players and umpires alike are reminded that there are only two times for the start of the 'last hour' in Liverpool Competition 1st XI matches. They are either 6:45 pm (5:45 pm) or 6:55 pm (5:55 pm). (The times in brackets apply to matches with a 12:00 noon start.)

Where the tea interval is taken between the innings, the 'last hour' shall start at 6:45 pm (5:45 pm).

Where the change of innings takes place either before or after the tea interval, the ten minutes allowed for the change of innings shall be added to the playing time, resulting in the 'last hour' starting at 6:55 pm (5:55 pm).

Time CANNOT be added on. If it rains, playing time is lost.

In an over is in progress at the above times, the 'last hour' shall begin with the following over but still end one hour after the scheduled start time ie 7:45 pm (6:45pm) or 7:55 pm (6:55pm) OR when the 20 overs have been completed, whichever is the later.

NOTE:
Up to half an hour may be only added in 2nd and 3rd XI matches.
