Now that Vaughan Williams has gone back to Australia, Ormskirk have signed West Indian paceman Adam Sanford in a desperate attempt to secure their ECB Premier League status.

Sitting in eleventh place in the table, Ormskirk have a six point advantage over bottom team Maghull and face a tough battle at Brook Lane with a Sefton Park side itself looking for security in the top flight. They are currently fifth and have 34 pts more than Ormskirk.
