A back injury to Formby's Mark O'Connor and Neil Rimmer's unavailability sees a call up for Colwyn Bay's Gareth Edwards as the Liverpool Competition prepares for its semi final in the Northern Rock LCC President's Trophy against the Derbyshire County League at Alvaston and Boulton CC on Sunday 15th August 2004 at 1:30 pm.

The selection of Colwyn Bay team mate, spinner Gareth Edwards, gives captain Sion Morris an added dimension in what would have been an all pace attack, except for Liam Crilly's leg breaks.
