Registration deadline

Clubs are to be aware that the deadline for the registration of new players is midnight on Saturday 14th August 2004.

In order that players may appear for their new club after this date, they have to have played at least one league match before the date which means that the latest time for registration is actually 1:00 pm on Friday 13th August 2004.

Any registration form has to accompanied by a clearance letter from the player's former club and in cases where this is not presented, the registration may be rejected.

In the case of category 2 (overseas) or 3 (overseas ordinarily resident) players, clubs are to ensure that any documents concerning the player are current and correct, otherwise the registration may be rejected.

A player cannot be registered with more than one club and if he is joining from another league, it is the responsibility of clubs to request that league's Registration Secretary to cancel the player's registration before he can play in the LDCC.
