South Africa dates confirmed for winter internationals
Friday 6th August 2004

Attention Barmy Army members!

The ECB has confirmed the international dates for England's 2004-05 winter tour to South Africa.

England will play the opening two of five Tests against the hosts before the New Year, in Port Elizabeth (Dec 17th-21st) and then Durban from Boxing Day.

The final three Tests will take place in January 2005 - at Cape Town (Jan 2nd-6th), Johannesburg (Jan 13th-17th) and Centurion (Jan 21st-25th) – before a series of seven one day internationals, four of them under lights, before the middle of February.

The ECB is not in a position to confirm the full tour itinerary as yet, as details are still being finalized with the UCBSA. Full details will be announced via www.ecb.co.uk in due course.

England supporters interested in purchasing tickets for matches in South Africa are advised to contact the UCBSA direct – as ECB does not handle ticket sales for overseas matches.
