Thwaites LCB Knockout draw

The Thwaites LCB Knockout Cup draw is now available. Winners in 1999 and finalists for the last two years, Ormskirk, travel to Baxenden of the Ribblesdale League, but the tie of the round for local clubs will be at Beech Walk where Leigh will face Northern League side, Chorley. Sefton Park entertain Hindley St Peter's (Manchester Association), Bury (Manchester Association) are at Lytham, Wigan travel to Fulwood and Broughton (Palace Shield) whilst Bootle face a tie at Great Harwood (Ribblesdale League). Finally, Northern, who are drawn away against Shadoos (Greater Manchester Amateur League), are incidentally drawn away in each round should they progress.

For Phil Unsworth, his dream tie has been put on hold as Ormskirk and Astley Bridge are in opposite halves of the draw and can only meet in the final at Old Trafford on Sunday 25th August. Start praying Unzy.
