Thwaites LCB Knockout Cup 2002

It was confirmed today by Old Trafford that the L&DCC will have seven teams in the Thwaites LCB Knockout Cup next season. They are Ormskirk (2001 finalists) together with (to be confirmed) Bootle, Leigh, Lytham, Northern, Sefton Park and Wigan. These teams will enter on the condition that New Brighton and Wallasey remain in the Cheshire Knockout and Northop Hall in the Welsh Cup. If any of these three teams decide to relocate, there will be a revision to the list of entrants.
